Results - Framework Document Great Green Wall for the Sahara and the Sahel Initiative

The IGMVSS results framework is directly derived from the Harmonized Regional Strategy for Implementation of the IGMVSS adopted by the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (CMAE) in September 2012 and approved by the AU Conference of Heads of State and Government in January 2013. The Harmonized Regional Strategy identified three strategic objectives and four operational objectives for the Initiative. The results framework emphasizes strategic objectives to give stakeholders flexibility in defining their contributions to the implementation of the Initiative.
